Real talk: I learned this from reading one of my dad’s forwarded emails.
If you’ve ever read anything about detoxing or maintaing proper alkalinity for your body, you know how important lemons are. I feel like every health expert in the WORLD talks about how they have lemon water in the morning before anything else.

Anyway, lemons are insanely good for you. And this little trick is a really easy way to get a good boost of nutrients.It’s really simple. All you have to do is….. put your lemons in the freezer. Two good things about this:
1. They last longer.
2. You grate/microplane the ENTIRE fruit, so not only is this much more cost-efficient (and less wasteful!) but you’re also really taking advantage of the most nutrient-dense parts of the fruit.
TRY IT! in your soup, on your salad, in your smoothies, in your spaghetti sauce, anything. just try it!
Ok. My mind has just been blown. I have a huge lemon tree out the back of my parents house and whenever it’s fruiting i don’t know how to use it but then when it stops I need all the lemons!
